Whether the Saxons would be poorer quality is a matter of debate. I don;t think these two armies would have been of very high quality! Some good units but in general not the apex of military efficiency!augsburgerobersthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07668623413869707906noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8037582458537250032.post-3948963976659815452014-02-20T05:02:31.177-05:002014-02-20T05:02:31.177-05:00Should not write so early in the morning:-(
Lovel...Should not write so early in the morning:-(<br /><br />Loveley pictures and Story about this famous Battle! Finally I learn what size those armies have been on each side. So I can now determine if I can call my Army an equal force. With those numbers in front of me I would say more or less equal. Only a little lack of quality on my side:-)Friedrich August I. It was truly a combination of scenario, period and the company and spirit in which the game was played. In such a large a battle there were so many 'calls' to be made and the gentlemanly spirit meant that even in the most tense moments common sense prevailed. I will not blow it here by telling you the result as that will unfold in the story but this was a treasured gaming experience. We'll definitely fight it again and I am sure Mr Patrick will get the opportunity to participate!augsburgerobersthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07668623413869707906noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8037582458537250032.post-91652879512574723472014-02-19T03:05:54.936-05:002014-02-19T03:05:54.936-05:00Just such a lovely spectacle!
